One of the main cornerstones of the seafarer lifestyle

RSYC offers members and guests a wide variety of sea sport activities that cater to both the novice and the experienced enthusiast. With courses in boating, powerboat operations and sailing for both adults and children, the club also organises regular boating, fishing and sailing trips for members.

Basic Sailing Courses
(Adult & Youth Dinghy)

In partnership with Metazone Ptd, this course is designed for youths and adults to learn the basics of sailing. At the end of the course, sailors would be able to appreciate how a sailboat functions and be able to sail their boat between point A and B. They will also be taught basic knots and sailing terminology

At the end of the course, sailors can discuss with their instructor on whether they are able to attend the Singapore Sailing Federation Level 1 Sailing Proficiency test or will require more practice sessions. Test dates can then be organised separately after the course.
