RETURN TO PHASE 2 (HEIGHTENED ALERT) – UPDATES ON CLUB OPERATIONS FROM 22 JULY 2021
Dear Members,
Following the latest announcement by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) on 20 July 2021, there will be a further tightening of Safe Management Measures to be implemented from Thursday, 22 July through Wednesday, 18 August 2021. The updated measures will be as follows:
Group Size:
Group activities/gatherings must be confined to no more than two (2) persons. No intermingling between groups of two persons are allowed.
Marina Operations:
- Any gathering onboard the pleasure craft should not exceed more than 2 persons. This does not include the master/crew employed to operate the craft. All personnel onboard shall practise safe distancing of at least one metre apart.
- MPA Requirements for Pleasure Crafts arriving within Port of Singapore will remain unchanged unless otherwise advised. For more details, please refer to Port Marine Circular in its entirety, for a full understanding.
- All shore-based technicians who are going on board a vessel with foreign crews must pre-register with marina office before entering the marina. The technician must produce proof at the security guardhouse that he/she has a valid COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken as part of the 7-Day RRT programme before boarding the vessel.
- Buggy service may only carry up to 2 passengers at any one time.

Marina Lodge:
Marina Lodge will remain open and will take in room booking for groups of up to 2 persons per room (except where individuals are all from same household, subject to the room’s maximum capacity). All guest’s details need to be registered with Front Office and no visitors are allowed. For more details, please call Front Office at 6768 9288 or email to marina.lodge@rsyc.org.sg
Food & Beverage Outlets:
- No dining in is allowed at the F&B outlets and Club premises. Only TAKEAWAY is allowed.
- Members can pre-order from 10.00am to 9.00pm daily for both outlets.
- Collection of orders will be from 11.30am to 9.30pm daily for both outlets.

- Drive-Thru Takeaway service is available. Simply call 30 minutes in advance to place your order and let us know your preferred timing for collection. Pick up venue will be at the lobby
- Delivery is available via Foodpanda platform
- From 22 July till 18 August 2021, Members will enjoy a 10% discount on all F&B takeaways and 30% off Wine & Liquor Full Bottle Sales (Not applicable on promotional items)
- Member will be entitled to a $10 F&B return voucher with spending of more than $50 after GST in a single receipt at any F&B outlets.
Swimming Pool and Rooftop Tennis Court:
- Swimming pool will remain open but limited to occupancy of 28 persons at any one time. Member is allowed to swim as an individual or in a group of no more than 2 persons, including yourself. Physical distancing of at least 2 metres between individuals must be maintained in general while swimming, and 3 metres between different groups must be maintained at all times.
- Rooftop Tennis Court will remain open. Member is allowed to play in a group of no more than 2 persons, including yourself (i.e.1v1) Booking for tennis court is compulsory via the RSYC website or front desk. Please list down any guests that are part of your booking.
Jackpot Room:
Jackpot will remain open but limited to occupancy of 8 persons at any one time. Member is allowed to play as an individual or in a group of no more than 2 persons, including yourself. No mixing or intermingling between groups at all times.
Closure of Gym and Social Facilities:
- All other Club facilities including Gym, Karaoke Lounge, Mahjong Room, Children’s Room, Member’s Lounge, Chart Room, Steam Room and Function Rooms will be closed.
- All prior gym personal training made for this period will be automatically cancelled.
- All indoor exercise including yoga and table tennis will be cancelled
All Members and guests are reminded to practice social responsibility, and remain compliant to all Safe Management Measures, as mandated by the Singapore government. RSYC will not hesitate to take action against breaches of the Club’s Safe Management Measures.

The Safe Management Measures for the Club facilities from 12 July 2021 onwards will be as follows:
Group Size:
Group activities/gatherings must be confined to no more than five (5) persons. No intermingling between groups of five persons is allowed.
Density of Facilities:
The capacity of the Club facilities will be adjusted to accommodate 10sqm per person, up to a maximum of 50 persons for each facility, whichever is lower. Members are reminded to adopt a “Use and Leave” policy.

- No guests allowed. All members must sign in with SafeEntry upon entering and exiting the gym
- Only selected machines will be available for use to ensure safe distancing of 2 metres.
- Please use disinfectant wipes to clean gym equipment before and after use.
- Masks must be worn prior to entering and after exiting the facility.

- Swimmers must observe a safe distancing of 2 metres between individuals at all times.
- Group size should be confined to no more than 5 individuals at any one time.
- Swimmers are encouraged to wipe dry after swimming, and put on their attire and leave the facility
- Masks must be worn prior to entering and after exiting the swimming pool.
Table Tennis and Tennis Court Usage:
- Booking is allowed for up to 4 persons per session
- Members may bring in 3 guests but must be present throughout the session
- Booking must be made via RSYC Website or through the front office before playing
- Individuals should restrict their use of facilities to no more than 2 hours each time.
Social Facilities:
- Steam Room will be open for use
- Member’s Lounge: Maximum of 11 persons allowed at any one time
- Chart Room: Maximum of 6 persons allowed at any one time
- Children’s Room: Maximum of 5 persons allowed at any one time
- Jackpot Room: Maximum of 8 persons allowed at any one time.
- Mahjong Room: Maximum of 2 tables (8 persons) allowed at any one time

In a press conference on June 10, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced a calibrated and phased opening, from Monday, 14 June 2021 and 21st June 2021 as follows:
Re-opening from Monday 14 June 2021:
- Social gatherings have been increased from 2 persons to 5 persons.
- Individuals are advised to keep to 2 social gatherings a day or fewer.
- No inter-mingling between groups of not more than 5 persons.
- Marina Lodge can take in new room booking for groups of up to 5 persons (except when individuals are all from same household, and also subject to the room’s maximum capacity) All guest’s details need to be registered with Front Office and any visitors are not allowed to stay overnight.
- Marina Operations
- Marina operations will resume with safe distancing measures in place.
- Any gathering onboard the pleasure craft should not exceed more than 5 persons. This does not include the master/crew employed to operate the craft. All personnel onboard shall practise safe distancing of at least one metre apart.
- MPA Heightened Alert Requirements for Pleasure Crafts within Port of Singapore will remain unless otherwise advised.
- We are seeking clarification on any changes in regulations from MPA and more details will be released soon.
Further Re-opening from 21 June 2021 (If Covid-19 situation remains under control and subject to MTF announcement) :
- Resumption of dining in at The Wharf and La Pizzeria
- Each table are spaced one meter apart with up to five (5) persons allowed to dine in together.
- Patrons are reminded to keep their masks on at all times, except when eating or drinking.
- No inter-mingling between tables at all times.
- More details will be given nearer to date.
- Re-opening of Gym, Table Tennis, Tennis Court and fitness activities
- Safe distancing of at least 2 metres must be maintained between individuals and at least 3 metres between groups of up to 5 persons.
- Please do not use gym equipment that has been crossed out.
- Please wipe down gym equipment with wet wipes after use.
- Table Tennis and Tennis can be resumed and booking is allowed for up to 4 participants.
- Yoga and kids swimming classes will resume with groups up to 5 participants per session.
- Other events and activities will resume gradually for up to 5 participants.
- More details will be given nearer to date.
- Re-opening of Member’s Lounge, Chart Room and Children’s Room
- There will be a maximum occupancy per facility, more details will be given nearer to date.
