RE: Gradual Re-opening to Phase 3 (Heightened Alert)
In a press conference on June 10, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced a calibrated and phased opening, from Monday, 14 June 2021 and 21st June 2021 as follows:
Re-opening from Monday 14 June 2021:
- Social gatherings have been increased from 2 persons to 5 persons.
- Individuals are advised to keep to 2 social gatherings a day or fewer.
- No inter-mingling between groups of not more than 5 persons.
- Marina Lodge can take in new room booking for groups of up to 5 persons (except when individuals are all from same household, and also subject to the room’s maximum capacity) All guest’s details need to be registered with Front Office and any visitors are not allowed to stay overnight.
- Marina Operations
- Marina operations will resume with safe distancing measures in place.
- Any gathering onboard the pleasure craft should not exceed more than 5 persons. This does not include the master/crew employed to operate the craft. All personnel onboard shall practise safe distancing of at least one metre apart.
- MPA Heightened Alert Requirements for Pleasure Crafts within Port of Singapore will remain unless otherwise advised.
- We are seeking clarification on any changes in regulations from MPA and more details will be released soon.
Further Re-opening from 21 June 2021 (If Covid-19 situation remains under control and subject to MTF announcement) :
- Resumption of dining in at The Wharf and La Pizzeria
- Each table are spaced one meter apart with up to five (5) persons allowed to dine in together.
- Patrons are reminded to keep their masks on at all times, except when eating or drinking.
- No inter-mingling between tables at all times.
- More details will be given nearer to date.
- Re-opening of Gym, Table Tennis, Tennis Court and fitness activities
- Safe distancing of at least 2 metres must be maintained between individuals and at least 3 metres between groups of up to 5 persons.
- Please do not use gym equipment that has been crossed out.
- Please wipe down gym equipment with wet wipes after use.
- Table Tennis and Tennis can be resumed and booking is allowed for up to 4 participants.
- Yoga and kids swimming classes will resume with groups up to 5 participants per session.
- Other events and activities will resume gradually for up to 5 participants.
- More details will be given nearer to date.
- Re-opening of Member’s Lounge, Chart Room and Children’s Room
- There will be a maximum occupancy per facility, more details will be given nearer to date.
In addition, we strongly encourage you to remain vigilant and continue to follow our existing safety measures, including:
- Temperature screening and SafeEntry check-ins at the guardhouse.
- SafeEntry Check-ins at all F&B outlets.
- Mandatory check-ins with TraceTogether token or app.
- Masks should be worn at all times and should only be removed when in the actual act of eating or drinking, or when exercising.
All Members and guests are reminded to practice social responsibility, and remain compliant to all Safe Management Measures, as mandated by the Singapore government. RSYC will not hesitate to take action against breaches of the Club’s Safe Management Measures.
